    Material & Fabric Guide

Choosing the right fabric and printing method is key to getting the perfect result. Use this guide to understand your options.

    Understanding Fabrics

The material you choose affects comfort, durability, and which printing methods work best.

    100% Cotton

Soft, breathable, and classic. Great for everyday wear and standard t-shirts.

    • Best for Screen Printing & DTF
    • Not suitable for Sublimation
    • May shrink slightly if not pre-shrunk

    100% Polyester

Lightweight, moisture-wicking, and durable. The standard for athletic and performance wear.

    • Perfect for Sublimation
    • Great for DTF & Heat Transfers
    • Resists shrinking and wrinkling

    Cotton/Poly Blends

Usually a 50/50 or 60/40 mix. Offers the softness of cotton with the durability of polyester.

    • Very versatile for most print methods
    • Less shrinkage than 100% cotton
    • Holds shape well over time

    Tri-Blends

A mix of cotton, polyester, and rayon. The softest, most premium feel available.

    • Ultra-soft with a vintage drape
    • Great for DTF and Screen Printing
    • Premium option for retail/brand merch

    Choosing the Right Finish

Match your fabric and design needs with the perfect customization method.

    Direct-to-Film (DTF)

Vibrant, full-color prints that work on almost any fabric type, including cotton, poly, and blends. Great for detailed designs and low quantities.

    Screen Printing

The industry standard for bulk apparel. Best on cotton and cotton blends. Provides durable, long-lasting prints but is cost-effective only at higher quantities.

    Embroidery

Premium, textured stitching. Best for heavier garments like polos, jackets, hats, and thick cotton or blends. Not recommended for very thin fabrics.

    Sublimation

Ink becomes part of the fabric. Requires 100% polyester (or high poly blends) and light-colored garments. Results in a zero-feel, permanent print.
